Bekah's Senior Photo Session

I am so excited to finally share some photos of Bekah to follow up with the quick sneak peek I had posted on my Facebook page. Bekah and I worked together to create a fun senior session in celebration of her class of 2015 graduation! We had fun playing with poses and color for these, and I really enjoyed the way that she incorporated her personality so well in the pictures! I LOVED that she brought along her favorite Ninja Turtle shirt to express herself, and it was fun to photograph her in jerseys that showed some of her favorite Wisconsin teams. I had so much fun with this session! - SJR

Brand New Studio Space!

August has been so exciting as I have been busy setting up my brand new studio space with MNReynolds Photography LLC! I'm so proud of our partnership in the space, and I'm proud of us for taking a big step with our businesses! The studio is starting to shape up and I'm excited to see how it keeps developing as we get it ready for our clients. Here are some photos of the space so far and of my awesome crew helping to get things set up. So much love and support is behind Sarah Jane Ripp Photography & Design... what an amazing feeling! I can't wait to see what happens next. - SJR

Six Month Wedding Anniversary Party

Sarah Jane Ripp Photography & Design was on the road this past weekend visiting historic Cedarburg, Wisconsin! Such a beautiful area... I have loved traveling there with my family for years, but this time I was there to photograph a six month anniversary party for Inna and David! Inna and David had a lovely January wedding in Mexico with family and friends, and this party was an opportunity to celebrate with their family and friends back home in Wisconsin. I had a great time with this group-- so much fun, a wonderful couple, and so many awesome people! --SJR

Dane County Map Photographs

These images are from a small series of photographs that were commissioned by First American Title in Madison, where I work as a title examiner. We hung them today at the office, and it was so rewarding to see them up on the wall for everyone to enjoy! The photographs show imagery relating to the business of title examining, and they were a fun way to combine two parts of my current work life- photography and title. I enjoyed applying the style of my fine art photography with books to a new concept. I looked at mapping tools such as measuring scales, plat books, farm plat books, maps, etc. I hope that this artwork will spark some interest in the clients that visit our office, and I hope that the employees will enjoy seeing a piece of what we do in our business through an artistic lens. Personally, I was excited to create a piece for my father's office showcasing a plat of his family farm. Art really is found in every part of our lives, sometimes you just have to look a little more closely and in unexpected places to find it. -SJR

Family Session on the Farm

Back in June, I had a great shoot out in the Sauk City area with an amazing family. Working with this family has been so much fun as we have gone through football seasons, baseball, and all the fun leading up to high school graduation for their oldest son. During his graduation party we took photographs with all of the extended family, cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandma! Photographing generations like this is always a special treat... I'm so excited about how their family photos turned out! A beautiful day of celebration, and a lovely group to work with. -- SJR family

Baby's First Photo Shoot

Over the weekend, I had the privilege of photographing a beautiful little baby girl! We are awesome new photo buddies, and it was a great experience for both of us— baby’s first photo shoot, and she is the youngest model I’ve had the privilege to photograph! I had a great time working with this little sweetheart and her family. Stay tuned for more photos of this lovely girl… I’m so excited to share a sneak peek of her photographs! I’m proud to say that Sarah Jane Ripp Photography is expanding to include newborn and baby photography. Shoot me a message if you are looking for photos of your little one! —SJR
